• Google Account Information: If you choose to sign up or log in using your Google account, we will receive your Google user ID, email address, and profile name as provided by Google.
• Other Data You Provide: Any other information you voluntarily provide within the App, such as delivery addresses, order details, and preferences.

Usage Data

We may also collect data automatically when you use the App ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and the date and time of your use of the App.

Neilos Grocery uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain our App.
• To manage your account and provide you with access to our services.
• To process and fulfill your orders for groceries.

3. Data Storage and Security

We are committed to protecting the security of your Personal Data. We use Firebase for authentication and database services. Your personal data is stored in Firebase with strict security rules configured to ensure that only the owner of the data (you) can read, write, or modify your personal content. This means your personal order history, addresses, and other sensitive information are accessible only to your authenticated user ID.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We will not share your Personal Data with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• With Your Consent: We may disclose your Personal Data for any purpose with your clear consent.
• Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our App ("Service Providers"), to provide the App on our behalf, to perform App-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our App is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. (e.g., Google Firebase for authentication and database).
• For Legal Requirements: We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Protect and defend the rights or property of Neilos Grocery.
  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App.
  • Protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public.

• Business Transfers: If Neilos Grocery is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not directly integrate with other third-party analytics or advertising services that would share your personal data with them beyond the scope of Firebase's standard operations for app functionality.

6. Links to Other Sites

Our App may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

8. Your Rights (Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 - India)

As a user of the Neilos Grocery app, and in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India, you, as a Data Principal, have the following rights concerning your personal data:

• Right to Access Information: You have the right to obtain from us a summary of your personal data being processed, details of the processing activities, and the identities of any other Data Fiduciaries or Data Processors with whom your personal data has been shared.
• Right to Correction and Erasure: You have the right to request us to correct inaccurate or misleading personal data, complete incomplete personal data, update outdated personal data, or erase your personal data, unless its retention is necessary for the specified purpose or for compliance with any law.
• Right of Grievance Redressal: You have the right to have readily available means of grievance redressal from us regarding any act or omission related to the processing of your personal data. You are encouraged to first raise your grievance directly with us before approaching the Data Protection Board of India.
• Right to Nominate: You have the right to nominate another individual who, in the event of your death or incapacity, can exercise your rights under the DPDPA on your behalf.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our App, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
